Role Overview
The Guest Service Agent delivers welcoming and memorable hotel experiences for guests.
The role covers seamless check-in and check-out while providing warm, responsive hospitality.
Guest Arrival and Departure
- Greet guests upon arrival and complete check-in by verifying details, assigning rooms, issuing keys, and providing welcome materials or bell-service assistance.
- Process guest departures by verifying charges, handling payments, issuing receipts, and using the point-of-sale system accurately.
Guest Information and Service
- Provide knowledge of hotel offerings, room types, rates, promotions, and local area information.
- Use upselling techniques to recommend hotel amenities and maximize room and service revenue.
- Respond to guest requests, resolve concerns with care and urgency, and manage messages and communications.
Success Qualities
- A passion for hospitality and memorable guest experiences is expected.
- Integrity and doing the right thing are core expectations.
- Leadership, teamwork, ownership, and accountability guide performance.
- Urgency and discipline are expected when responding to guest needs.
