Role overview
The Assistant Human Resources Manager supports the daily HR operations of a hotel.
The role combines HR administration, team member engagement, compliance, reporting, supervision, and performance support.
Key responsibilities
- Support recruitment, training, compensation, benefits, team member relations, labor relations, compliance, safety, and performance management.
- Coordinate recognition programs, special events, and engagement initiatives.
- Maintain team member data, employment transition records, training records, and corrective action records.
- Generate reports on key HR metrics.
- Supervise and support team members, monitor performance, provide coaching, and promote a positive work environment.
Success qualities

- HR activities must be carried out in line with corporate HR policies and federal and local regulations.
