Overview

  • Process all guest check ins, verify identity, form of payment, assign room, and deliver/activate room keys.
  • Open accurate accounts for each guest according to their requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Enter Marriott Rewards program information.
  • Ensure rates match market guidelines and document exceptions.
  • Obtain payment before delivering room keys and verify or adjust billing.
  • Collect and review daily reports, records, and incident lists.
  • Complete cashier reports and closing reports.
  • Provide directions and information to guests about destinations and hotel.
  • Respond to guest requests by contacting appropriate personnel if necessary.
  • Follow up to ensure requests are handled.
  • Process all payment methods, vouchers, disbursements, and expenses.
  • Balance and deliver receipts.
  • Compute and secure cash at start and end of shift.
  • Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling, motivating, and coaching employees.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • No license or certification required.
