Job Purpose
- Leads GTB technology delivery and supports GTB Tech Lead in successful implementation of integrations between GTB Applications across Mashreq geographies.
GTB Technology Delivery Ownership
- Own end to end technology delivery for GTB applications (Payments, Cash Management, Trade Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Collections) as part of Core Banking transformation.
- Act as single accountable owner for GTB technology delivery outcomes across geographies, products, and integration landscapes.
- Ensure alignment of GTB delivery roadmap with overall Core Banking program milestones.
Portfolio & Program Delivery Management
- Govern and oversee delivery commitments across multiple streams within approved scope, cost, timeline, and quality.
- Review, challenge, and approve delivery plans from Technology Delivery Managers.
- Proactively manage cross domain dependencies, sequencing conflicts, and resource constraints.
- Maintain delivery transparency through consolidated reporting on status, risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
People & Delivery Leadership
- Provide direction and coaching to Technology Delivery Managers.
- Set clear delivery expectations, monitor performance, and drive accountability.
- Ensure optimal capacity planning and skill alignment.
- Build a strong delivery culture focused on execution discipline, quality, and ownership.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure all GTB technology deliveries comply with enterprise architecture, ISG, security, audit, regulatory, and change governance standards.
- Act as escalation point for delivery risks, major issues, and program deviations.
- Drive proactive risk identification and mitigation.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Serve as senior technology interface for GTB Business, Operations, Core Banking program leadership, and external partners.
- Ensure stakeholder expectations are aligned with realistic delivery capacity.
- Provide oversight of vendor delivery performance, commercial adherence, and contractual commitments.
- Support senior management decision making through impact based recommendations.
Quality, Stability & Transformation Outcomes
- Ensure delivery of stable, scalable, and supportable solutions across GTB platforms.
- Drive reduction in unnecessary customizations and promote reuse and standardization.
- Ensure readiness for cutover, stabilization, and transition to BAU.
Operating Environment, Framework and Boundaries, Working Relationships
- Operates within a highly regulated, large scale banking technology environment.
- Leads delivery in a complex, multi product, multi vendor environment.
- Functions at a portfolio and program level, overseeing multiple delivery streams.
- Acts as senior technology delivery interface for GTB Tech, Business, Operations, and enterprise Technology stakeholders.
