Great Wall MBA Program Coordinator & Learning Coach

Liaison Function Coordinate with the TWU MBA management team, TWU MBA faculty, the TUFE (Tianjin University of Finance and Economics) Great Wall MBA Director and program staff, and all program faculty, in order to set up course schedules, manage student and parent concerns and questions on behalf of TWU, and provide documents to TWU and TUFE, as necessary, to support the effective management of the program, including TUFE's efforts to promote and recruit students for the Great Wall MBA program. Work with TUFE to ensure that all application files are complete and authenticated, and then forwarded to TWU Enrolment Management and TWU Associate Dean in Graduate Studies in a timely manner. Coordinate and make arrangements with TUFE for TWU’s MBA Director to conduct admission interviews with Great Wall MBA applicants, with full consideration of the TWU Associate Dean in Graduate Studies’ schedule; proctor English proficiency admissions tests during interview days. Build and maintain the Great Wall students and alumni network platform and hold events. Maintain relationship with local business communities.

Assist with all travel arrangements for both the TWU Associate Dean in Graduate Studies and the TWU faculty who teach in the program. Support TWU faculty as necessary to ensure that each course functions effectively, freeing TWU faculty to focus on providing high quality education in China. This includes cultural sensitivity assistance as well as administrative support. Sit in on classes as TWU' s representative to monitor the students' attendance and classroom experience, and to provide learning assistance for all students in the Great Wall Program. Monitoring Function Regularly monitor the program on behalf of TWU and provide timely updates directly to the TWU Associate Dean in Graduate Studies. Upon conclusion of each course delivered in the program, administer a standardized course evaluation to send to the MBA Director.

Promotion Function Assist with efforts to promote and recruit students for the GW MBA program, as necessary, including advising prospective students. Attend and/or arrange events for GW MBA recruitment.

MBA Recruitment Function Provide support for Great Wall MBA programs recruitment efforts in Tianjin, Shanghai, and Beijing, including administrating interviews and written English language skills testing.

Bachelor degree taken in North America (business degree taken from TWU preferred); MBA or equivalent preferred

2-3 years in an organizational setting

Proven ability to coordinate activities and communicate effectively between partners in a project or program
