Overview
- Boo Boo Laand is seeking a creative and detail oriented Graphic Designer to support the team in producing engaging visual content.
- The ideal candidate should have a passion for design, an eye for detail, and the ability to work within an established brand identity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and produce event collateral, social media assets (posts, stories, and reel covers) aligned with Boo Boo Laand's established sticker and doodle inspired brand aesthetic.
- Assist with the layout, formatting, and production of newsletters and other marketing communications.
- Develop campaign and promotional materials for events, recruitment drives, seasonal campaigns, and other marketing initiatives using approved templates and brand guidelines.
- Adapt and resize approved creative assets for various formats and platforms, including print, digital, and in venue signage.
- Perform basic photo editing and retouching for venue and event photography.
- Maintain organized file structures and ensure proper version control for all design assets.
- Support the preparation and formatting of PowerPoint presentations and decks in accordance with the company's design system.
- Implement revisions and updates based on stakeholder feedback in a timely manner.
- Collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and contribute to a dynamic, fast paced work environment.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in graphic design (agency, in house, or with a strong freelance portfolio).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator; experience with Figma is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of layout principles, typography, and color theory.
- Ability to work consistently within established brand guidelines and maintain brand integrity.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and delivering work within tight deadlines.
- Portfolio demonstrating experience with playful, illustrative, or children brand related projects is highly desirable.
- Willingness to learn, collaborate, and adapt in a fast paced team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS, particularly for HTML to PNG asset workflows.
- Proficiency in Canva for creating quick turnaround social media content.
- Familiarity with animation or motion graphics tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects or similar software).
- Experience designing creatives for recruitment and hiring campaigns.
