About Awriri

  • Aafyah Innovations is building Awriri — a Doctor Positioning System helping physicians, clinics, and hospitals across the GCC grow their digital presence and reach more patients.
  • We’re feature complete and entering the market now, with the UAE as our launch geography.

The Role

  • This is a generalist technology role for a sharp, hungry graduate who wants real experience across software, AI, and data.
  • You’ll work directly with the product and engineering team, get exposure across the full stack, and grow into a senior individual contributor as we scale.
  • This Role is based out of India/UAE and is a remote role with once every quarter in person visits.

Product & Software Development

  • Build and maintain features across Awriri’s web platform using React and Node.js.
  • Work with databases to support product functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate with the product team to ship improvements quickly and iteratively.

AI & Machine Learning

  • Support the development and testing of AI powered features within the Awriri platform.
  • Work with Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar) to prototype and improve models.
  • Research and evaluate new AI tools and approaches relevant to our product roadmap.

Data & Operations

  • Help build internal dashboards and reporting tools to track product and business metrics.
  • Support data pipelines and ensure data quality across our systems.
  • Assist with technical operations tasks as the team scales.

Must haves

  • A BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, AI/ML, Data Science, or a related STEM field — completed or in final year.
  • Solid foundation in at least one of: full stack development (React, Node.js), Python, or data/ML.
  • Comfortable picking up new tools and technologies quickly.
  • Strong problem solving mindset — you find a way, not an excuse.
  • Works well independently and takes ownership without being micromanaged.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Strong advantages

  • Personal projects, open source contributions, or a GitHub portfolio that shows what you’ve built.
  • Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Any experience or interest in the healthtech or medical space.
  • Arabic language skills.
