About the Role

Responsibilities
- Generate periodic data of all GS students through updating current student lists based on checking each student transcript
- Monitor academic transcript processes, such as re enrollment, and determine and change majors
- Audit students’ academic records, including verifying grades, GPAs, and academic standing
- Prepare statistics for enrolled, registered, and graduated students and provide to relevant parties
- Prepare reports related to enrolled, registered, and graduated students and notify relevant university departments
- Prepare receiving documents from colleges about student cases in accordance with regulations for the Department Head
- Coordinate with colleges each semester to submit students’ Progress Review Forms, minimum credits to register, and end of time/degree limit
- Collect and collate documents and smooth the process of receiving and supporting GS students and colleges requests
- Assist visitors and callers with information or directions
- Perform any other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate academic discipline
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in an administrative role
- Experience in a student and administrative support role at a program, department or college level in a university is preferred
- Experience in graduate education administration is desirable
- Proficiency in using the Banner System
- Demonstrated understanding of student affairs, especially at the Graduate level
- Demonstrated ability to work collegially and collaboratively
- Good communication and analytical skills
- Proficiency in desktop applications

Job Description
- Generate periodic data of all GS students through updating the current students lists based on checking each student transcript to get access to accurate information.
- Monitoring the academic transcript processes, such as re enrollment, as well as determining and changing majors.
- Auditing students’ academic records, including verifying grades, GPAs, and academic standing.
- Preparing the statistics for enrolled, registered, and graduated students, and providing them to relevant as needed.
- Preparing reports related to enrolled, registered, and graduated students, and notifying relevant university departments with the required student information.
- Preparing the receiving documents from the colleges about the students cases in accordance with regulations and policies for the Department Head to present to the Student Cases Committee.
- Coordinate with each semester with colleges to submit their students’ Progress Review Forms, minimum credits to register, and end of time/degree limit.
- Collect and collate documents and smooth the process of receiving and supporting a variety of GS students and colleges requests e.g. Admission Deferment, Postpone, Withdrawal, Nomination to Candidacy, TWIM, NOC...etc.) before and after submitting them to CGS decision makers.
- Assists visitors and callers with information or directions
- Performing any other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate academic discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in an administrative role.
- Experience in a student and administrative support role at a program, department or college level in a university is preferred.
- Experience in graduate education administration is desirable.
