Role Overview
Support engineering activities on projects involving control system software and hardware design.
Work independently or in a team while supporting control strategy development, HMI configuration, databases, networks, alarms, KPI monitoring, and project documentation.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support engineers working on control systems projects.
- Assist in developing new control strategies and selecting hardware.
- Configure human-machine interfaces and provide commissioning support.
- Create and maintain databases for recipes and other data.
- Troubleshoot issues during commissioning or customer-site callouts.
- Develop test procedures and perform testing.
- Generate user manuals, system drawings, network layouts, single line diagrams, and wiring diagrams.
- Manage project schedules and budgets.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with automation or control systems.
- Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
