- Take full ownership of the No Objection Certificate (NOC) lifecycle, including preparation of document packages and follow up
- Act as primary point of contact for stakeholders including Al Dhafra Municipality, Abu Dhabi Environmental Agency, CICPA, Abu Dhabi Police, and ADNOC
- Participate in division management and operations meetings to align with business strategy and identify regulatory bottlenecks
- Ensure all submissions adhere to UAE law and EOG's corporate governance
- Travel to external government offices and EOG field sites to troubleshoot issues firsthand
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in drafting, preparation, and management of NOC document packages in Abu Dhabi
- Professional level fluency in both English and Arabic
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Willingness to travel between corporate offices, government offices, and field locations in Al Dhafra region
- 3+ years of experience in Abu Dhabi oil and gas industry (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Law, or related field (preferred)

About the Role
- EOG Resources is seeking a Government Relations Expert to lead regulatory processes and stakeholder engagement functions in Abu Dhabi.
- This role requires a hands on approach and will serve as the primary bridge between operations and the UAE’s regulatory landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- End to End NOC Execution: Take full ownership of the No Objection Certificate (NOC) lifecycle, including preparation of document packages, data gathering, and follow up.
- Regulatory Liaison: Act as primary point of contact for stakeholders including Al Dhafra Municipality, Abu Dhabi Environmental Agency, CICPA, Abu Dhabi Police, and ADNOC.
- Operational Integration: Participate in division management and operations meetings to stay aligned with business strategy and identify regulatory bottlenecks.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure all submissions adhere to UAE law and EOG’s corporate governance.
- Field Based Problem Solving: Travel to external government offices and EOG field sites as needed to troubleshoot issues firsthand.
Required Qualifications
- NOC Technical Expertise: Demonstrated experience in drafting, preparation, and management of NOC document packages in Abu Dhabi.
- Operational Mindset: Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in a fast paced environment without compromising on detail or compliance.
- Communication: Professional level fluency in both English and Arabic.
- Transparency: Proven track record of establishing and maintaining high ethical standards.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel between corporate offices, government offices, and occasionally field locations in the Al Dhafra region.
Preferred Qualifications
- Upstream Industry Background: 3+ years of experience in Abu Dhabi oil and gas industry, focusing on exploration and production.
- Agency Experience: Direct experience navigating protocols of key stakeholders in Abu Dhabi.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of UAE’s evolving energy policies and regulations governing Al Dhafra region.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Law, or a related field.
