Position : Golf Operations Attendant

Department : Golf Operations

Reports To : Reporting to – Golf Operations Supervisor

To provide a friendly and welcoming experience to members and guests whilst ensuring that all Standard Operating Procedures are adhered to and followed. Responsible for the presentation of the Bag Dorp, Bag Storage, Cartwell and Driving Range areas.

Main Duties: (Job Related Duties)

Responsible for the presentation and preparation of the driving range, short game area, members range, golf carts, bag drop, bag storage and cartwell.

To always maintain a smart and professional appearance, adhering to the company dress standards.

Responsible for managing member & guest expectations with regards to; lateness, no shows, squeeze in tee times and any other special requirements that may arise.

Achieve outstanding 59Club results throughout the Mystery Shopper program.

To ensure the availability of range balls and that they are maintained in a presentable condition by being washed after each range ball pick.

To aid members & guests with the transportation of their golf bags, assigning them to range bays, providing them with golf carts etc. ensuring the highest of service standards can be reached.

Performing to delegated tasks assigned by supervisor

Ensuring that all lights are switched off and that machines like ball picker range balls are properly secured after duty hours.

Responsible for diligently following and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures.

Ancillary Duties :

In line with the Club’s strive for continuous improvement, you may be requested to participate in various extra activities contributing to individual and organizational growth.

Represents the department or a group in various committees, such as the Staff Committee, Green Theme (environmental), Food Committee, Sport Committee or projects. Be trained as a Fire Marshall or First Aider.

Read, Understand and comply with all applicable Information Security Policies and Procedures of wasl DG.

Co-operate, co-ordinate and share information with Internal/External Audit teams as appropriate and applicable.

Attend Information Security Awareness sessions conducted by the wasl IT Department.

All Information Security breaches, events, weaknesses, incidents (actual or suspected breaches) shall be immediately reported to the IT Service Desk.
