Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily golf course landscape maintenance activities ensuring quality and timeliness
- Manage the care and maintenance of turf, trees, shrubs, and other landscape features on the golf courses
- Implement and monitor irrigation systems to optimize water usage and maintain turf health
- Train, lead, and motivate landscaping and groundskeeping staff to achieve performance objectives
- Work closely with golf course management and other departments to align landscape maintenance with operational needs
- Inspect golf course landscapes regularly to identify and address issues such as pest infestations, plant diseases, or irrigation problems
- Manage inventory of landscaping materials and supplies, ensuring adequate stock and efficient use of resources
- Ensure all landscaping activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for golf course landscape maintenance
- Stay updated on the latest golf course landscaping techniques and industry best practices
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Horticulture, Landscape Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in golf course landscaping or similar landscape maintenance role
- Strong knowledge of turf management, irrigation systems, and pest control within golf course environments
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize maintenance schedules effectively
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to landscaping activities
- Physical ability to perform fieldwork under various weather conditions
