Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end execution of a major greenfield manufacturing project, from business case development and FEL/FEED through construction, commissioning, startup, and operational handover.
- Take full accountability for project scope, budget, schedule, governance, and overall capital project delivery performance.
- Drive collaboration across global engineering, operations, business development, procurement, EPC contractors, and regional stakeholders.
- Develop and implement robust project execution, procurement, contracting, risk management, and change management strategies.
- Ensure world-class Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards are embedded throughout all project phases.
- Lead engagement with Indian government agencies, regulatory bodies, permitting authorities, and local stakeholders to secure all required approvals and maintain statutory compliance.
- Oversee engineering design activities, ensuring all mechanical, electrical, civil, process, and infrastructure deliverables meet project requirements.
- Manage EPC partners, contractors, consultants, and vendors to achieve exceptional cost, quality, schedule, and safety outcomes.
- Provide executive-level reporting, project governance updates, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership teams.
- Lead commissioning, qualification, performance testing, and successful transition of the manufacturing facility into operations.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of Project Management experience delivering large-scale industrial or manufacturing construction projects.
- Proven Project Management experience gained during the construction and delivery of a Chemical Manufacturing Plant, preferably within a greenfield environment.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering at least one major capital project valued at $100 Million or greater, with overall responsibility for end-to-end delivery .
- Deep understanding of Indian regulatory, environmental, permitting, statutory compliance, and infrastructure requirements associated with industrial developments.
