As GPO for Payroll, Time & Attendance you will be responsible for partnering closely with the Payroll team to design, govern and continuously improve our payroll processes across the globe and ensure we have cost effective, automated and easy to use time & attendance solutions.
Key responsibilities:
Own the end-to-end global Payroll, Time & Attendance process framework, driving standardisation, governance and continuous improvement across all markets.
Define, maintain and optimise global Payroll and Time & Attendance processes, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, compliant and aligned with Haleon’s operating model.
Act as subject matter expert for Payroll and Time & Attendance processes, providing guidance and decision-making support to People Solutions, HR teams, Digital & Technology teams and business stakeholders.
Partner with HR Business Partners, Payroll, People Solutions, Finance, Risk & Compliance, and Digital & Technology teams to drive process simplification, automation and service excellence.
Establish and maintain global process standards, controls, policies, Knowledge contents and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring consistency while balancing local regulatory and legislative requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging process analytics, automation opportunities and industry best practices to improve employee experience, payroll accuracy and operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, labour laws, tax regulations, statutory obligations and Haleon policies across all relevant jurisdictions.
Partner with the Quality & Effectiveness team to define and monitor key process performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs), quality metrics and payroll accuracy measures, identifying trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
Lead process governance forums and stakeholder engagement activities, ensuring alignment of process priorities, change initiatives and business requirements.
Partner with Digital & Technology teams to help shape the payroll and workforce management systems roadmap.
Provide process leadership for technology enhancements, integrations and digital transformation initiatives.
Ensure robust governance and integrity of Payroll and Time & Attendance data across HR, payroll and workforce management platforms.
Support acquisitions, divestitures, organisational redesigns and transformation programs impacting Payroll and Time & Attendance processes.
Collaborate with vendors, consultants and implementation partners to evaluate and adopt best-in-class solutions and practices.

About you
Technical and functional expertise:
8-10 years of experience in Payroll, Time & Attendance, HR Operations, Shared Services, Process Ownership or related disciplines.
Strong expertise in global payroll operations, workforce management processes, payroll controls and employee lifecycle impacts on payroll.
Deep understanding of payroll legislation, labour regulations, tax compliance requirements and workforce management practices across multiple countries.
Experience operating within complex global organisations, ideally using multiple payroll vendors and service delivery models.
Proven experience leading global process ownership, governance and standardisation initiatives.
Strong understanding of Workday and payroll-related integrations, with the ability to assess process, data and system impacts.
Experience working with global payroll providers such as ADP, CloudPay, Workday Payroll or similar solutions is preferred.
Demonstrable experience leveraging data analytics and process insights to drive business performance improvements.
Knowledge of automation, digital transformation and emerging technologies impacting HR Operations and Shared Services.
Certification in Payroll (e.g. CIPP) and/or process improvement methodology (e.g. Lean Six Sigma) is advantageous.
