Job Description
The position is for a Geotechnical Engineer focused on site supervision and report preparation.
The role is described as a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer opportunity within the geotechnical engineering department.
Location
- The listed location is Bengaluru, with willingness to relocate across India when necessary.
- The role requires extensive work on sites in different locations across India.
Field Investigations and Site Work
- Assist Senior Engineers with geotechnical site investigations and site supervision.
- Support soil boring, test pitting, and in-situ testing such as SPT and CPT.
- Collect, log, label, and ship soil and rock samples to the laboratory.
- Maintain accurate daily field notes, reports, and documentation.
- Follow workplace safety protocols with a strong commitment to safe work.
Data and Engineering Support
- Compile field and laboratory test data into a structured format for analysis.
- Assist with sieve analysis, Atterberg limits, moisture content, and shear strength data.
- Support preliminary analysis and design for foundations, slopes, and earth retention systems.
