Geotechnical Drilling Helper

• Rig Setup & Demobilization: Assist the Drill Operator with positioning, setting up, anchoring, and dismantling geotechnical drilling rigs and auxiliary equipment on-site.
• Core & Sample Handling: Help collect, log, label, and safely package soil samples and rock cores into core boxes or split-spoon samplers for laboratory analysis.
• Tool & Pipe Handling: Move, connect, clean, and disconnect heavy drill rods, casing, augers, and sampling tools during drilling operations.
• Site Preparation & Maintenance: Keep the work site organized, assist with mixing drilling mud or grout, and carry out post-drilling site restoration and cleanup.
• Equipment Care: Perform basic routine maintenance, cleaning, and inspection of drilling tools, pumps, and safety gear.
• Safety Adherence: Rigorously follow jobsite safety guidelines, wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and maintain situational awareness around rotating machinery.

• Prior experience as a drilling helper, geotechnical assistant, or heavy construction laborer preferred (entry-level candidates willing to learn are welcome to apply).
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and handle physical labor, including heavy lifting (up to 50+ lbs / 25+ kg).
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and capability to take direction from the lead driller or site engineer.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to local/regional job sites as needed.

Pay: AED1,200.00 - AED1,500.00 per month
