General Roadmaster

As General Roadmaster, you will coordinate the safe, cost-effective and timely planning and execution of the production capital plan on the region, mentor and provide oversight to the ongoing development of the management staff to ensure compliance with corporate policy and regulatory/engineering standards. Additionally, you will manage all aspects of staffing requirements for Production within the region. Provides for the execution of safe work plans ensuring appropriate tools, training, and resources are available to production crews

Mentor and provide technical guidance to craft employees, supporting their skill advancement and strengthening overall team performance

Lead and manage unionized staff in accordance with the Collective Agreement, facilitating resolutions for corrective actions, disputes, and grievances to uphold positive labor relations

Ensure the successful execution of annual and multi-year capital planning objectives, optimizing resource utilization and project outcomes

Advance initiatives focused on regulatory compliance, service excellence, and sustainability of financial results

Maintain CPKC’s full compliance with Transport Canada regulatory protocols, safeguarding standards of safety and operational integrity
