Responsibilities
- Provide medical consultations, examinations, diagnosis, and treatment for students and staff.
- Manage acute illnesses, minor injuries, and common health concerns occurring during school hours.
- Assess and stabilize medical emergencies and arrange referrals or transfers to hospitals when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for all consultations and treatments.
- Monitor students with chronic medical conditions and coordinate care plans with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers.
- Administer prescribed medications according to school policies and medical guidelines.
- Conduct health screenings and medical assessments when required.
- Promote preventive healthcare through health education programs and wellness initiatives.
- Advise school management on health-related matters, infection control measures, and public health concerns.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, school health policies, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with nurses, counselors, teachers, and administrative staff to support student well-being.
- Participate in health awareness campaigns, vaccination programs, and school health activities.
License/Certification
- DHA license is required.
