Role Overview
Provide comprehensive dental diagnosis, treatment, preventive care, and patient education.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral diseases and conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' clinical needs.
- Provide preventive care including education, scaling, polishing, fluoride applications, and check-ups.
- Perform restorative procedures including fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthetic treatments.
- Carry out tooth extractions and minor oral surgery within the scope of practice.
- Manage dental emergencies involving pain, infections, and trauma.
- Perform root canal treatments within clinical competency.
- Prescribe antibiotics, analgesics, and other appropriate medications according to guidelines.
- Interpret dental radiographs and maintain accurate patient records.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Dental Surgery (BDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD/DDS) from a recognized institution.
- Valid MOH professional license or eligibility to practice as a dentist with the relevant regulatory authority.
- Relevant clinical experience as a General Dentist is preferred.
- Hindi language proficiency is required.
