About the Role
Aspen Medical is hiring a General Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care in Abu Dhabi. You will perform health assessments, order diagnostics, prescribe treatments, and manage acute and chronic conditions.

- Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to infection prevention protocols
Requirements
- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS, MBChB) or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Successful completion of an internship program
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience
- Eligible for or currently holding a valid UAE Medical License as a General Practitioner
- Certified in BLS and/or ACLS (desired)

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate directly with assigned Registered Nurse, Customer Service Staff, and/or Reception Team regarding schedule or appointment.
- Perform proper, complete, and holistic health assessments in accordance with established standards.
- Order diagnostic tests (e.g., X rays, ultrasound, blood tests) and interpret results.
- Prescribe vaccinations for treatment and prevention of illness.
- Provide medical care to patients in accordance with Aspen Medical’s scope of practice.
- Manage and treat all acute and chronic health conditions, including appropriate follow up.
- Prescribe medications and provide clear instructions.
- Promote a caring environment where equality and diversity are respected.
- Provide medical and/or health education to patients and families.
- Conduct re evaluations and assessments of treatments when required.
- Safely utilize medical equipment, devices, and instruments.
- Collaborate and communicate with other healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Selection Criteria Essential
- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), MBChB, or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Successful completion of an internship program and a minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience.
- Eligible for, or currently holding, a valid UAE Medical License as a General Practitioner.

- Certified in BLS and/or ACLS.
