About the Role

- Own product strategy, roadmap, and go to market execution
- Own full P&L with clear revenue and margin accountability
- Assess new markets, verticals, and partnership opportunities
- Act as senior representative with regulators, banks, and key partners
- Lead MVP delivery and Smart Cashier roadmap
- Set architecture direction balancing speed, scale, and compliance
- Prioritise features based on merchant demand and market position
- Maintain 99.9% uptime SLA and sub 2 second transaction latency
- Secure and maintain payment licences across target jurisdictions
- Maintain PCI DSS Level 1 certification and pass annual audits
- Design and operate AML and KYC frameworks to regulatory standards
- Keep fraud losses below 0.5% while protecting approval rates
Requirements
- 8+ years in payments, fintech, or financial services
- 3+ years in senior leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of card schemes and alternative payment methods
- Experience operating in regulated environments; iGaming preferred
- Proven delivery of payment products at scale
- Strong command of PCI DSS, AML, KYC, and cross border regulation

Job Description

Job Requirements
- 8+ years in payments, fintech, or financial services
- 3+ years in senior leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of card schemes and alternative payment methods
- Experience operating in regulated environments; iGaming preferred
- Proven delivery of payment products at scale
- Strong command of PCI DSS, AML, KYC, and cross border regulation
- P&L ownership with measurable growth results
- Technical fluency to work directly with engineering leadership
- Strong proficiency in integrating AI tools into daily workflows
Preferred Experience
- GM, VP Product, or Head of Payments in a gateway or processor
- Direct experience securing EU payment licences
- Active relationships with acquiring banks and PSPs
- Exposure to high risk merchant categories
- MBA or relevant advanced degree
Strategic Leadership
- Own product strategy, roadmap, and go to market execution
- Own full P&L with clear revenue and margin accountability

Product & Technology
- Lead MVP delivery and Smart Cashier roadmap

- Secure and maintain payment licences across target jurisdictions (UK, Malta, Gibraltar, Anjouan)
- Maintain PCI DSS Level 1 certification and pass annual audits
- Design and operate AML and KYC frameworks to regulatory standards
- Keep fraud losses below 0.5% while protecting approval rates
Operations & Partnerships
- Negotiate and manage acquiring banks, processors, and PSPs
- Build merchant onboarding with 24 hour integration target
- Set up customer support and dispute handling workflows
- Build treasury and FX controls for multi currency processing
Team Building
- Hire and lead teams across engineering, compliance, operations, and sales
- Set clear standards for execution, compliance, and customer outcomes
