- Oversee end to end execution of furniture manufacturing and interior fit out projects
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards
- Manage furniture production, joinery, upholstery, finishing, and installation operations
- Optimize factory productivity and manufacturing processes
- Manage company budgets, project costing, and financial performance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, architects, and developers
- Lead and mentor department heads, project managers, factory managers, engineers, and supervisors
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, Dubai Civil Defense, and other regulatory authorities
- Prepare monthly management reports covering project status, financial performance, factory productivity, and business development pipeline
Requirements
- Minimum 10–15 years of UAE experience in furniture manufacturing and interior fit out industry (Mandatory)
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Business Administration
- Proven experience managing both factory operations and project execution
- Strong knowledge of joinery, bespoke furniture manufacturing, and interior fit out processes
- Experience handling luxury residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, and institutional projects
- Strong financial and commercial acumen with experience in budgeting and P&L management
- Thorough understanding of UAE authority approvals and construction regulations
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Valid UAE Driving License

Job Summary
- The General Manager will be responsible for the overall leadership and operational management of the furniture manufacturing facility and interior fit out division.
- This role will oversee project execution, factory operations, business development, financial performance, client relationships, and team leadership while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall operations of JR Industries and JR Interiors in line with the company's strategic objectives.
- Develop and implement business plans to achieve revenue, profitability, and growth targets.
- Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and strategic partnerships.
- Support the management team in long term business planning and expansion.
- Oversee end to end execution of furniture manufacturing and interior fit out projects.
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
- Coordinate with design, estimation, procurement, production, site teams, and project managers.
- Monitor project profitability, resource allocation, and operational efficiency.
- Manage furniture production, joinery, upholstery, finishing, and installation operations.
- Optimize factory productivity and manufacturing processes.
- Ensure quality control procedures are implemented throughout production.
- Monitor inventory, material utilization, and production schedules.
Financial Management
- Manage company budgets, project costing, and financial performance.
- Monitor cash flow, project profitability, and operational expenses.
- Review project budgets, procurement costs, and financial reports.
- Ensure cost optimization while maintaining quality standards.
Business Development & Client Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, architects, and developers.
- Participate in major client meetings, negotiations, and contract discussions.
- Support tendering, estimation, and contract finalization processes.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor department heads, project managers, factory managers, engineers, and supervisors.
- Foster a high performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular operational and project review meetings.
- Support talent development and succession planning.
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, Dubai Civil Defense, and other regulatory authorities.
- Ensure adherence to HSE regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
- Drive continuous process improvement and operational excellence.
Reporting
- Prepare monthly management reports covering Project Status, Financial Performance, Factory Productivity, Business Development Pipeline, Operational KPIs, and Resource Planning.
- Present recommendations and business insights to the Directors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Business Administration.
- MBA is an added advantage.
- Minimum 10–15 years of UAE experience in furniture manufacturing and interior fit out.
- Proven experience managing both factory operations and project execution.
- Strong knowledge of joinery, bespoke furniture manufacturing, and interior fit out processes.
- Experience handling luxury residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, and institutional projects.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen with experience in budgeting and P&L management.
- Thorough understanding of UAE authority approvals and construction regulations.
