Job Purpose
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records and timely reporting, and support UAE regulatory compliance and management decisions.
The position is based in Dubai and reports to the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and post daily sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal transactions.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing, supplier bills, ageing, and payment follow-up.
- Record and file invoices for audits, management reviews, and regulatory compliance.
- Perform bank, cash, customer, supplier, and inter-company reconciliations.
- Maintain the general ledger and supporting documentation for all entries.
- Prepare the monthly trial balance and assist with profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash-flow reports.
- Calculate input and output VAT and manage UAE FTA filing and compliance.
- Support audits by providing schedules and supporting documents.
- Monitor inventory movements and reconcile records with logistics and warehouse teams.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or an equivalent field.
- 3–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction materials trading.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT.
