Responsibilities
- Lead and run fit sessions on fit models/forms; give precise, actionable fit feedback
- Review and approve patterns and toiles before sampling sign off
- Maintain grading rules and size charts across client size ranges
- Build and maintain a fit comment library for recurring body types/styles
- Write and maintain detailed spec sheets (measurements, construction, seam allowances, stitch types)
- Set construction standards and tolerances per garment category
- Advise Design on construction feasibility at the concept stage
- Assess fabric performance, shrinkage, and stretch behavior per style
- Conduct quality audits on pre production (PP) samples and bulk production
- Flag and resolve fit or construction risks before they reach bulk
- Act as technical point of contact between Design, Sampling, Production, and clients
- Translate client fit feedback into actionable pattern/construction changes
Requirements
- 5+ years in a technical/fit role within garment manufacturing, CMT, or RTW
- Strong working knowledge of pattern cutting and grading
- Experience running fit sessions independently
- Familiarity with technical packs, spec sheets, and client facing technical documentation
- Comfortable working across CMT/SAH/T&A production models
- Experience with B2B/private label manufacturing (preferred)
- ClickUp or similar PM tool experience (preferred)
- Arabic or Hindi/Urdu language skills (preferred)

Role Overview
- The Garment Technologist / Fit Specialist is the technical authority ensuring every garment moves from design concept to production ready reality with correct fit, sound construction, and consistent quality.
- This role bridges Design, Sampling, and Production — catching fit and construction issues early, before they become costly bulk production problems.
Fit & Pattern
- Lead and run fit sessions on fit models/forms; give precise, actionable fit feedback
- Review and approve patterns and toiles before sampling sign off
- Maintain grading rules and size charts across client size ranges
- Build and maintain a fit comment library for recurring body types/styles
Technical Specs & Construction
- Write and maintain detailed spec sheets (measurements, construction, seam allowances, stitch types)
- Set construction standards and tolerances per garment category
- Advise Design on construction feasibility at the concept stage
Fabric & Quality
- Assess fabric performance, shrinkage, and stretch behavior per style
- Conduct quality audits on pre production (PP) samples and bulk production
- Flag and resolve fit or construction risks before they reach bulk
Cross functional Liaison
- Act as the technical point of contact between Design (Alaa's team), Sampling (Thisara), Production, and clients
- Translate client fit feedback into actionable pattern/construction changes
- Support costing discussions by flagging construction choices that affect time/cost
Required
- 5+ years in a technical/fit role within garment manufacturing, CMT, or RTW
- Strong working knowledge of pattern cutting and grading (hands on cutting not required, but fluency essential)
- Experience running fit sessions independently
- Familiarity with technical packs, spec sheets, and client facing technical documentation
- Comfortable working across CMT/SAH/T&A production models
Preferred
- Experience with B2B/private label manufacturing (multiple client size charts/standards)
- ClickUp or similar PM tool experience for tracking sample/fit status
- Arabic or Hindi/Urdu language skills (team communication)
Pay
- AED 4,000.00 AED 5,000.00 per hour
