Intro

  • The Funds Senior Sales Executive is responsible for originating and winning new fund services business across the United Arab Emirates, with a primary focus on the fund management community.
  • Working closely with colleagues across Sales, Markets, and Global Financial Solutions, you will build pipelines, lead the end to end sales cycle, and convert opportunities into long term client relationships.
  • You will represent CSC® externally with fund managers, asset managers, financial institutions, and key referral partners such as law firms and professional services firms.
  • This role is suited to a high energy 'hunter' with a strong network and a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Essential Requirement

  • This role is not a general financial services sales position. Applicants must have demonstrable experience selling fund services (or closely related solutions) directly to fund managers/investment funds and have an existing network within the UAE funds ecosystem.

Some of the things you’ll be doing

  • Proactively originate, qualify, and win new fund sales opportunities across the UAE.
  • Build and maintain a strong referral network with external business partners (including law firms and professional services firms), deepening existing relationships and unlocking new referral sources.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, including discovery, solution positioning, presentations, deal management, follow ups, and negotiation.
  • Collaborate with Global Financial Solutions and Markets teams to position CSC’s product suite, including fund administration, SPV services, depositary, AIFM, and strategic outsourcing solutions.
  • Develop account and territory plans, including go to market activity plans, aligned to revenue targets and strategic priorities.
  • Coordinate and contribute to proposals and RFP responses in partnership with the Funds Market team and other subject matter experts.
  • Conduct deal by deal risk assessment and ensure new opportunities meet internal governance, regulatory expectations, and commercial criteria.
  • Monitor market and competitor trends and provide actionable insights to support commercial strategy and growth planning.
  • Represent CSC at client meetings, industry forums, conferences, and seminars to promote brand visibility and generate pipeline.
  • Use sales tools and technology (e.g., Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Preqin or similar platforms) to manage pipeline, forecasting, activity tracking, and reporting.

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?

  • Demonstrated success in a business development / sales role with consistent achievement against quotas or revenue targets (new business acquisition focus).
  • Experience selling to, or within, the fund management community (e.g., fund managers, asset managers, financial institutions) or selling closely related financial services solutions into that client base.
  • Strong network within the fund management community and ability to build referral channels with law firms and professional services partners.
  • Proven ability to run complex, consultative sales cycles, coordinate internal stakeholders, and close deals.
  • Strong commercial judgement, negotiation skills, and ability to assess opportunity risk and fit.
  • Proficiency with CRM and sales enablement tools, including Salesforce (or similar), with disciplined pipeline management and forecasting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of fund servicing models and products such as fund administration, depositary, AIFM, SPVs, or strategic outsourcing.
  • Existing partner relationships across the UAE fund management community.
  • Experience selling regulated services and navigating governance, compliance, and risk review processes during onboarding.
  • Strong presentation skills and experience representing an organisation at industry events and conferences.

A typical career progression

  • Business Development Director → Senior Business Development Director / Sales Leader → Regional Sales Head / Commercial Director (Funds).
  • Cross functional opportunities: pathways into Product Strategy, Funds Market Leadership, Key Account Management, or broader Global Financial Solutions commercial leadership roles.
