About the Role
Citco is seeking a Fund Accountant for their Abu Dhabi office to prepare financial reporting for institutional clients, execute financial controls, and perform reconciliations. Candidates need a university degree in accounting, finance, or economics, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Prepare periodical financial reporting for institutional clients, including determination of Net Asset Value and preparation of Statement of Assets and Liabilities and Profit and Loss Statement
- Execute financial control elements covering assets, liabilities, income and expenses, and equity
- Independently complete cash, portfolio and capital reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Review and process notices for capital calls and distributions on underlying portfolio fund holdings
- Maintain contact with client operations staff, banks, custodians and brokers
- Monitor compliance with various client service agreements
- Assist with new client onboarding and new launches
- Participate in fiscal year end audit process and provide information to auditors
- Liaise with internal and external parties to ensure client needs are met
- Assist with ad hoc projects
Requirements
- University degree in accounting, finance, economics or professional accounting designation (CFA, CGA, CMA, CA, CPA)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Outlook
- Proven ability to work in a challenging, professional, and fast paced work environment
- Experience working in the financial industry or public accounting is an advantage
