Qualifications include
- TWU seeks applications who are committed Christians and able to articulate the intersection of Christian faith and business, specifically related to their discipline.
- An earned doctorate, or ABD, in Finance with a professional accreditation/designation (eg. CPA, CFA, CFP) is highly preferred.
- Proven teaching excellence at a post-secondary institution is essential as well as the ability to interact with students as an academic advisor and mentor.
- Five years of industry experience in a management or consultant role is preferred.
- As a leader in global business education, TWU desires candidates who have an in-depth understanding of the global marketplace.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Applicants should have expertise in and be academically qualified to teach a broad range of Finance courses both at the undergraduate and graduate level.
- Engagement with professional communities.
- Model genuine Christian faith in and beyond the classroom.
- Engagement with students outside the classroom, including advising, social interaction, and informal academic and cultural settings.
- Intentionally and explicitly integrate the Christian faith with teaching and scholarship.
- Participation in the work of the university, including serving on university committees as needed.
