About the Role

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain features across our Azure hosted internal ERP platform, working on both front end and back end components
- Develop responsive, high quality UI using Angular 17 (Standalone SPA), TypeScript, Kendo UI for Angular, and Angular Material
- Write and maintain back end services and APIs in C# / ASP.NET Core (.NET 8) using MVC and Razor patterns
- Support and extend legacy platform components built in jQuery, Kendo UI MVC, Bootstrap, and React 16 (TypeScript/Webpack) during platform migration
- Integrate AI and automation tools into internal workflows, contributing to an AI first engineering approach
- Work with Azure cloud infrastructure including authentication (MSAL), deployments, and services
- Collaborate directly with the on site operations and IT team in Tijuana on day to day technical needs
- Coordinate daily with US based project leads and engineering leadership in English
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation as part of a disciplined small team development process
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Proven hands on experience in full stack software development with a focus on production output
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript with hands on experience in Angular (v14+)
- Working knowledge of C# and .NET / ASP.NET Core for back end development
- Demonstrated understanding of AI tools, automation concepts, and a genuine interest in applying AI to software development and business processes
- Fluent English communication skills, spoken and written, required for daily collaboration with US based leadership

Job Objective
- SPACE/CRAFT is building an in house software development team and is seeking a sharp, driven Software Developer to join us at our Tijuana, Mexico facility.
- This is a hands on, high output role — writing code every day, working with AI tools every day, and shipping features for our next generation internal ERP and operations platform that runs the core of our business.
- Our platform touches everything: project management, scheduling, asset tracking, manufacturing workflows, logistics, and reporting.
- The Software Developer will work across both front end and back end as part of a small, focused team with direct access to senior engineering and IT leadership in the US.
- This is not a ticket queue job — you will own real features and solve real operational problems from day one.
Key Responsibilities

Education & Experience

- Prior work in manufacturing, construction, logistics, or any industry where software meets physical operations is a strong advantage.
- Experience with ERP, MRP, or operations management systems is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Comfortable working across the full stack, front end and back end development patterns.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and responsive web development fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, and modern development practices.
- Experience with Kendo UI (Angular or MVC), Angular Material, or similar enterprise component libraries is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services, MSAL authentication, or enterprise identity management is an advantage.
- Exposure to database design, SQL Server, or data modeling is an advantage.
- Fluent English communication skills, spoken and written, required for daily collaboration with US based leadership.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to work effectively in a corporate, client driven environment.
- High output mindset — this is a production role, not a research role.
