Responsibilities
- Design and build full stack solutions across .NET integration platform, Azure APIs, and frontends
- Design relational data models and write performant queries with SQL Server and EF Core
- Connect systems: consume and expose APIs, work with message queues/service bus
- Grow into Business Central / AL over time
- Evaluate automation opportunities and translate them into practical tools
- Manage software project timelines and coordinate releases
- Act as third line support: read logs, reproduce bugs, find root cause
- Coordinate day to day IT activities to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor system performance and take proactive steps to prevent disruptions
- Serve as go to point of contact for internal stakeholders on IT matters
- Establish and maintain secure environment for systems and networks
- Document technical specs, design documents, and user guides in Confluence
Requirements
- Strong C# and .NET / ASP.NET Core
- Frontend experience with Blazor and/or React
- SQL Server and Entity Framework Core
- Integration mindset: REST APIs and async/event driven patterns
- Strong debugging and root cause diagnostics
- Eagerness to learn Business Central and AL
- Fluent in English
- Azure fundamentals: App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Storage, Azure AD/JWT
- Git and CI/CD with Azure DevOps
- Comfort working ticket driven and documenting as you go
- Automated testing in C#
- Clean architecture / SOLID instincts

Who we are
- ODC is a Belgian duty free and travel retail distributor with presence across Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
- From Dubai office, we serve fast moving travel retail markets and are investing in software and IT processes.
Your role
- Full stack .NET engineer comfortable across backend, frontend, and integrations.
- Also acts as connective tissue of IT team: keeping projects on track, processes running smoothly.
- Third line support function: calm, methodical diagnosis of production issues.
Stack
- .NET · Blazor / React · SQL Server · Azure
- Core systems: Business Central, integration platform, Bluebird B2B webshop
- Small IT team, ticket driven on Atlassian suite (Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence)
- Base: Dubai office
What you'll do Software development
- Design and build full stack solutions across .NET integration platform, Azure APIs, and frontends.
- Design relational data models and write performant queries with SQL Server and EF Core.

IT process & operational continuity

- Collaborate across departments to align IT initiatives with business goals.
Security & quality
- Establish and maintain secure environment for systems and networks.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
- Implement quality standards and perform compliance reviews.
Knowledge sharing & documentation
- Document as you go in Confluence: technical specs, design documents, user guides.
- Share knowledge proactively across IT team.
- Provide user training and support for new releases.
Innovation
- Stay on top of emerging technologies and propose improvements.
- Continuously develop skills through courses, self study, and experimentation.
What we're looking for Must have
- Strong C# and .NET / ASP.NET Core
