- Supervise day to day operations of the Fruits & Vegetables section
- Ensure all products are fresh, properly displayed, and available for sale
- Monitor product quality and remove damaged or expired items immediately
- Implement FIFO stock rotation procedures
- Coordinate with warehouse and purchasing team for timely replenishment
- Maintain attractive merchandising and promotional displays
- Achieve sales, margin, and shrinkage control targets
- Train, guide, and supervise section staff and helpers
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards are maintained
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally
- Conduct daily stock checks and assist in inventory counting
- Prepare reports related to sales, wastage, and stock movement
Requirements
- Experience in supervising fruits and vegetables section
- Knowledge of FIFO stock rotation
- Ability to train and guide staff
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
