About Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk

Role Overview
The role manages activities relevant to the front desk, including reception, check-in and checkout, cashiering, foreign exchange and guest inquiries.

Key Responsibilities
- Register and room all guest arrivals according to established procedures.
- Perform check-in, checkout and room-change procedures and enter data accurately into the hotel system.
- Maintain the cashier float and report all money received accurately.
- Cash guest transactions and assist with currency exchange.
- Follow accounting policies, credit policy and front desk procedures.
- Attend to safety box requests and guest inquiries.
- Handle complaints and requests, escalating unresolved problems to a supervisor or assistant manager.
- Maintain knowledge of promotions, loyalty programs, reservations and other Sofitel properties.
