Amazon Quick is a generative AI-powered assistant that helps employees answer questions, generate content, provide summaries, and complete tasks securely using enterprise data.
The Front-End Engineer II will design and deliver interfaces for conversational AI configuration, policy management, dashboards, and enterprise-scale administration.
Key responsibilities
- Own feature delivery from technical design through implementation, testing, and production release.
- Build natural-language configuration interfaces, agentic chat UX, policy editors, and observability dashboards using React, TypeScript, and AWS Cloudscape Design System.
- Define new interaction patterns with UX designers and product managers rather than only implementing existing specifications.
- Maintain front-end quality through clean code, comprehensive testing, and operational ownership in production.
- Contribute to component architecture, state management, performance optimization, and reusable abstractions.
- Collaborate with backend engineers, applied scientists, and security teams to deliver complex capabilities through intuitive interfaces.
Basic qualifications
- At least 2 years of non-internship professional front-end, web, or mobile software development experience using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
