Job Summary
The Procurement Officer manages procurement of materials, products, equipment, and services for fit-out, joinery, interior, and construction projects.
The role sources suppliers, obtains quotations, negotiates commercial terms, monitors purchase orders and deliveries, and supports timely delivery within approved budgets.
Procurement and Sourcing
- Source and purchase materials, products, equipment, tools, and services for fit-out, joinery, interior, and construction projects.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers, subcontractors, manufacturers, and service providers.
- Maintain an updated database of approved suppliers and subcontractors.
- Obtain and compare quotations and negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and other conditions.
Materials and Purchase Orders
- Procure materials including MDF, plywood, timber, laminates, veneers, paints, hardware, glass, aluminum, gypsum, flooring, ceilings, sanitaryware, electrical items, and lighting.
- Coordinate procurement of joinery materials, furniture fittings, ironmongery, CNC-related materials, and finishing products.
- Review specifications and verify compliance with approved drawings, BOQs, samples, and project requirements.
- Prepare purchase orders with accurate specifications, quantities, prices, delivery dates, payment terms, and conditions.
