Role Description
This is a contract role for a Freelance HSE Trainer with experience in shutdown environments.
The position is on-site, based in Doha, Qatar.
Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality health, safety, and environmental (HSE) training tailored to shutdown operations.
The role involves conducting interactive training sessions, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and compliance requirements, and fostering a culture of safety within client organizations.
Trainers will also support participants by providing clear communication of key HSE concepts.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Health & Safety management, with knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards
- NEBOSH qualification or equivalent certifications
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse audiences
- Experience in delivering Training, including Safety Training specific to shutdown operations
- Demonstrated ability to adapt instructional methods to different cultural settings and learner needs
- Understanding of operational requirements in industries such as Oil & Gas, Construction, or Energy is highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Proficient in English, with additional language skills being advantageous
