Responsibilities
- Develops and implements strategic plans for Finance Department in line with organizational objectives.
- Reviews financial performance against budgets to identify cost reduction and performance improvement opportunities.
- Monitors deployment of work processes to achieve high performance standards and compliance.
- Participates in workforce plan development for Finance Department.
- Manages implementation of approved Finance Department policies, procedures and controls.
- Guides preparation of financial analysis for management reports, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets and long term strategic plans.
- Monitors key business indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of change or negative variances.
- Leads execution of benchmarking analysis, financial analysis, commentaries and presentations for executive review meetings.
- Responsible for reporting to Otis – Middle East management on all entities, business & variance analysis.
- Leads annual budget and strategic plan processes including agreement on assumptions, consolidation, analyzing submissions.
- Prepares executive story boarding, business review presentations, management updates on forecasts, budgets & strategic financial plan.
- Leads monthly and quarterly financial forecasting and reporting process for all Otis – Middle East entities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in performing financial planning at an enterprise level for a multiple geography portfolio
- Fluent written and spoken English essential
- Master's degree in Finance/Accounting is preferred
- Relevant certification such as Chartered Certified Accountant (CCA) or equivalent is preferred
- Arabic preferred

Role Overview
- The role holder is responsible for leading the financial analysis of the business across all Otis – Middle East entities.
- Guiding the local finance resources to consolidate business indicator and trends and conduct effective analysis to support the business planning process.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops and implements strategic plans for Finance Department in line with the organizational objectives.
- Reviews the financial performance of the Finance Department against budgets to identify and capitalize on potential areas for cost reduction and performance improvement opportunities.
- Monitors the deployment of work processes in Finance Department in order to achieve high performance standards, continuous improvement and compliance.
- Participates in the development of the workforce plan for the Finance Department by providing inputs based on workload analysis and forecasting trends.
- Participates in the implementation of Otis's vision, mission and cultural values across all employee groups in the Finance Department.
- Manages the implementation of approved Finance Department policies, procedures and controls.
- Guides the preparation of financial analysis for management reports, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets and long term strategic plans for all Otis – Middle East entities.
- Monitors key business indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of change or negative variances and provide recommendations to management.
- Leads the execution of benchmarking analysis, financial analysis, commentaries and presentations for executive review meetings including regional/EMEA reviews.
- Responsible for reporting to Otis – Middle East management on all entities, business & variance analysis of financial results, planning updates, management highlights and development of pipeline projects status updates.
- Leads the annual budget and strategic plan processes including agreement on assumptions, consolidation, analysing all Otis ME entities submissions, communicating financial targets and strategic plan platforms.
- Prepares executive story boarding, business review presentations, management updates on forecasts, budgets & strategic financial plan.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
- Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting is preferred.
- Relevant certification such as Chartered Certified Accountant (CCA) or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in performing financial planning at an enterprise level for a multiple geography portfolio.
- Fluent written and spoken English essential, Arabic preferred.
