Forklift Operator

Description

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks to transport materials and products to designated locations.
• Safely load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and shelves using various forklifts.
• Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Accurately pick, pack, and stage materials for shipment or distribution.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and report any discrepancies or damages.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.
• Collaborate with warehouse team members and supervisors to coordinate and prioritize tasks.
• Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on forklifts as needed.
• Adhere to company policies and standards for quality, safety, and efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proven experience operating sit-down, stand-up, and reach truck forklifts.
• Valid forklift operator certification/license.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to operate forklifts in various environments, including tight spaces and high racks.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in inventory handling.
