Forklift Operator

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the forklift operator is responsible for the daily movement of inventory within the warehouse to ensure delivery readiness and quality of product.

• Current certification for Forklift, Reach

• Three (3) to five (5) years of forklift operator experience within a food manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Food Safety and Health and Safety as they relate to the food industry a strong asset

• Receive, unload and store incoming product.
• Locate, pick, load and ship outgoing product.
• Verify product condition and quality upon shipping or receiving.
• Follow tag creation procedures for outbound and inbound orders.
• Adhere templates to outgoing containers to ensure Shipping staff understand outbound production location.
• If required, update P.O. number according to pick ticket and alter quantities.
• Assemble orders as directed by Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.
