A **forklift operator** safely drives industrial vehicles to load, unload, move, and stack materials in warehouses, manufacturing plants, or construction sites.
Key Responsibilities
- **Material Handling:** Safely load, unload, and transport raw materials or finished goods to designated areas (shipping, production, storage).
- **Safety Compliance:** Adhere to all OSHA, company, and site-specific safety protocols, including wearing protective gear.
- **Equipment Inspection:** Conduct pre-shift checks on forklifts (fluid levels, brakes, tires) and perform basic maintenance or report malfunctions.
- **Warehouse Operations:** Stack and organize inventory properly in warehouses, racks, or containers to maximize efficiency.
