About the Role
The Central Veterinary Research Laboratory is seeking a Forensic Analyst for the Anabolic Steroids Screening Section at the Camel Forensic Laboratory.
The role supports analytical workflow and timely sample processing to ensure efficient operations, accurate testing, and reliable analytical results.
Location and Employment
- The position is based in Dubai, UAE, at the Camel Forensic Laboratory.
- The employment type is full-time.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform sample preparation and extraction, including Solid-Phase Extraction, derivatisation, and related procedures.
- Perform analytical testing and instrument data acquisition using GC-MS and LC-MS techniques.
- Conduct routine GC-MS/MS anabolic steroid screening and dilute-and-shoot LC-MS assays for highly volatile analytes.
- Review, process, interpret, and analyze analytical data.
- Perform repeat testing and confirmatory analysis when required.
- Collaborate with laboratory team members to manage parallel analytical workflows.
- Process samples within required laboratory turnaround times.
- Follow laboratory procedures, quality standards, and documentation requirements.
