Summary/Objective
The Foreclosure Specialist is responsible for servicing loans from the date of the default through a foreclosure sale, following Agency guidelines.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Responsible for pre foreclosure /due diligence review prior to referral to attorney for foreclosure commencement
- Provide complete foreclosure referrals to attorney
- Diligent review of loans assigned to foreclosure attorney to assure that milestones are being
- completed and attorneys are expediting the foreclosure process to be completed within allowable state timelines.
- Aggressive follow up and high touches, at minimum weekly, to assure files are moving without delays
- Maintains current foreclosure status in all systems of records being used by BSI
- Calculates foreclosure bid figures in accordance with agency guidelines
- Timely response and follow up to all requests from internal and external contacts
- Review of legal documents/affidavits prepared by counsel for accuracy prior to execution
- Clearing out and working queues assigned daily
- Responsible for meeting legal requirements and following internal policies.
