Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Food Services Supervisor to join our growing on a full time (1.0EFT) ongoing basis.
The Food Services Supervisor plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Food Services team at Latrobe Regional Health.
Working closely with the Food Services Manager and Food Distribution Manager, you will provide operational support, coordinate café and food service activities, and contribute to the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality food services across the organisation.
This hands-on role combines team coordination, food safety oversight, administration and continuous improvement activities, making it ideal for an experienced food services professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Working Together | We will respond to challenges together to create a safe, quality health service The role of the Food Services Supervisor is to: Coordinate the day-to-day operations of LRH café services, ensuring efficient service delivery and a positive customer experience.
Support managers with rostering, payroll administration, recruitment and onboarding activities for Food Services staff.
Monitor food service operations, including stock control, ordering, invoicing, banking and operational reporting.
Maintain and support food service systems, including food safety documentation, compliance processes and operational databases.
Review operational practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Promote a safe, collaborative and team-focused culture while supporting food service operations and kitchen activities as required.
About you Ideal candidates for this role will have: A Food Safety Handling Certificate or equivalent food safety qualification.
working in food services, hospitality or a related operational environment, preferably within healthcare.
