Role Description

  • This is a full time, on site Food Server role based at Cipriani in Doha, Qatar.
  • The Food Server will welcome guests, present menus, answer questions about food and beverages, and provide recommendations aligned with Cipriani’s high service standards.
  • Daily responsibilities include taking orders accurately, coordinating with kitchen and bar staff, serving food and drinks, and ensuring tables are set, cleared, and reset efficiently.
  • The role also involves monitoring guest satisfaction, handling special requests, and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • The Food Server will adhere to hygiene, safety, and presentation standards while contributing to a polished and courteous dining experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on attentive, courteous, and professional guest interaction.
  • Knowledge of food & beverage offerings and food service procedures, including menu items, ingredients, and basic service protocols.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with guests, colleagues, and management in a fast paced environment.
  • Basic cooking or food preparation awareness to understand dish components and accurately describe menu items.
  • Previous experience in upscale or fine dining hospitality settings is highly preferred.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, carry trays safely, and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Proficiency in English required; additional language skills are an advantage.
