We are looking for a fast-paced, energetic Food Runner to join our culinary team.
The Food Runner acts as the crucial liaison between the kitchen and the dining room, ensuring that food is delivered to guests quickly, efficiently, and at the perfect temperature.
Your primary goal is to enhance the guest experience by maintaining open communication with the kitchen staff, organizing food orders, and presenting dishes beautifully at the table.
Key Responsibilities
- **Food Delivery:** Promptly deliver food orders from the kitchen line to the correct guest tables and seat numbers.
- **Order Verification:** Inspect dishes before they leave the kitchen to ensure they meet our quality standards, correct presentation, and match the guest's ticket order.
- **Menu Knowledge:** Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu, ingredients, and potential allergens to answer basic guest questions upon delivery.
- **Garnish & Prep:** Assist the kitchen expo or chefs with final garnishes, tray setups, and ensuring proper utensils are provided with specific dishes.
- **Table Maintenance:** Assist servers by clearing empty plates (bussing), refilling water, and responding to immediate guest requests.
