Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of fleet maintenance, ensuring that all vehicles are serviced and repaired in a timely manner to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance schedule that includes regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and necessary repairs, utilizing fleet management software to track progress.
- Lead a team of skilled technicians and mechanics, providing training and support to enhance their technical skills and foster a culture of safety and excellence.
- Monitor and analyze fleet performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage the fleet maintenance budget, ensuring that all expenditures are tracked and reported accurately, while seeking opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure that all repairs and services are performed to the highest standards and within budget constraints.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards, conducting regular audits and inspections of fleet operations and maintenance practices.
