Role Overview

Alstom is seeking a full-time Fleet Deputy Project Director for the onshore scope in Riyadh.

The role represents the Project Director and focuses on onshore activities, including integration of a new fleet into existing infrastructures.

Project Leadership

  • Work with project teams, line managers, finance, legal, tax, and other support functions.
  • Manage customer relationships and coordinate with suppliers and consortium partners.
  • Drive project execution to meet contractual requirements and customer expectations.
  • Optimize project financial performance, including margin and cash, alongside the Project Director.

Project Delivery

  • Ensure project Quality, Cost, Delivery, Planning, and Environment, Health, and Safety performance.
  • Oversee contract management and variation orders.
  • Ensure successful communication between onshore and offshore teams.
  • Anticipate and manage testing, commissioning, customer acceptance, and warranty phases.
  • Manage project risks, opportunities, and compliance with applicable rules and standards.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Master’s degree.
  • 10 years of experience as a project manager in the railway industry.
  • Experience working in and with multinational companies and diverse business cultures.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Good communication and team management abilities.
  • Good knowledge of railway products and systems.
  • Ability to manage customer relationships and advanced negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in conflict and crisis management.
  • Strong complexity management skills.
  • Leadership, entrepreneurial mindset, and results-oriented approach.
