Join our Shutdown Electrical team and play a key role in supporting our dedicated Shutdown crew across five world‐class Iron Ore processing plants Yandi, Area C, South Flank, Jimblebar, and Newman Operations. You’ll gain hands‐on exposure to diverse equipment, new challenges, and different teams every swing. Working FIFO from Perth on our Dynamic 182 roster, you’ll experience an exciting blend of sites, people, and work environments, meaning you’ll never get bored.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited too:
Carry out fixed‐plant maintenance on Extra Low Voltage, Low Voltage, and High Voltage equipment
Diagnose, test, and report faults to keep critical production equipment operating safely and efficiently
Install, repair, and upgrade cables, electrical infrastructure, and plant equipment
Provide electrical support during ramp down and ramp up phases
Execute HV (RADIAL) and LV isolations proficiently
Inspect and test protection systems, RCDs, and shutdown safety controls
About You
Qualified Electrician with a valid WA Electrical Licence
Current Australian Driver’s licence
Experience in mining or heavy industrial electrical maintenance
Strong problem solver who collaborates well and works confidently on their own
Safety‐focused, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
