About the Role

Responsibilities
- Analyse OTDR/LSPM testing reports to check results against budget for fixed fibre services (FTTX) and 5G
- Coordinate with technology teams in operational acceptance of newly declared ready for connect buildings/towers/villas
- Create technical inventory report required to connect new customers
- Engage with Commercial and Business team to ensure ready to connect buildings are published correctly on website
- Monitor number of splitter ports per buildings and request for expansion based on utilization
- Understand technical field challenges to connect customer in given SLA
- Upload and track fixed line inventory (ONT, CPE, STB) and fibre patch cords
- Call customers for appointment booking and monitor SLAs across multiple field vendors
- Track order failures and follow up with technology teams to ensure end to end fulfilment within 48H
- Manual disconnection of QNBN links based on customer request
- Engage with relevant parties to get Kahramaa IDs for eligible apartments and villas
- Provide back office support to field team to resolve technical issues during activation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s / Engineering degree in telecommunications or equivalent
- 5 years of relevant experience in the service or telecommunication industry
- Strong background in fulfilment across mobility and fixed
- Advance Knowledge in Fixed Fibre Services i.e., FTTX
- Experience in MS Office tools like Power BI, Power Automate
- Excellent communication skills in English/Arabic (both verbal & written)
- Results Oriented and ability to create training material and troubleshooting guides

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

- Engage with Commercial and Business team to ensure ready to connect buildings are published correctly on website.
- Monitor number of splitter ports per buildings and request for expansion based on utilization.
- Understand technical field challenges to connect customer in given SLA (e.g., blockage, optical power parameters, routing, labelling).
- Upload and track fixed line inventory (ONT, CPE, STB) and fibre patch cords.
- Call customers for appointment booking and monitor SLAs across multiple field vendors.
- Track order failures and follow up with technology teams to ensure end to end fulfilment within 48H.
- Manual disconnection of QNBN links based on disconnection request from customer.
- Engage with relevant parties (QNBN, Vodafone roll out team) to get Kahramaa IDs for eligible apartments and villas.
- Own and maintain field service experience by providing regular training to field team.
Education
- Bachelor’s / Engineering degree in telecommunications or equivalent
Knowledge & Experience
- Advance Knowledge in Fixed Fibre Services i.e., FTTX desirable
- Certification in MS office tools like Power BI, Power Automate will be add on.
- 5 years of relevant experience in the service or telecommunication industry with a strong background in fulfilment across mobility and fixed.
- Track record in managing vendors of diverse backgrounds to achieve high level of service.
- Results Oriented and knowledge to create training material and troubleshooting guide.
- Experience in MS office tools like Power BI, Power Automate.
- Excellent communication skills in English/Arabic (both verbal & written).
