Role overview
Evident Inspection Technologies is seeking a Firmware Engineering Co-op for its Waltham office from January 2027 through June 2027.
The division develops inspection and analytical solutions for mission-critical assets and infrastructure.
Job duties
- Develop embedded C and C++ applications for the Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC.
- Design algorithms for efficient data transfer and processing and develop APIs between applications.
- Develop embedded Linux firmware for hardware interfaces.
- Test applications, develop and maintain software tools, integrate tools, and improve CI/CD infrastructure.
- Collaborate with software and hardware development coworkers.
Job requirements
- C and C++ programming experience is required.
- Strong data-structures knowledge and basic Linux understanding are required.
- Experience with Git is required.
- Understanding of electrical concepts, basic signal processing, logic, and algorithms is required.
- The co-op must be able to work onsite on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
