About the Role
Saipem seeks a Firing Line Operator for offshore pipe lay vessels in the Middle East. The role involves operating pipeline conveyors, clamps, and support rollers during pipe movement and fit-up operations.

Responsibilities
- Operate pipeline conveyors and transfer cars in the Double Joint prefabrication area
- Operate clamps for fit up in the J lay tower assembling station
- Operate support pipe rollers and transfer cars in line up stations
- Report any equipment malfunctioning to the mechanic department
- Ensure green and red lights are applied according to work phases
- Operate the ILUC and its winches
- Participate in Toolbox and JSA meetings
Requirements
- Previous Firing Line Operator experience on pipe lay vessels
- Valid offshore certificates
- Availability to work in the Middle East
- Experience with offshore hook up activities is beneficial

Mission
- Carry out all pipe movements and fit up operations on prefabrication area, line up station, and J lay tower station
- Operate equipment in a safe manner following HSE procedures
Tasks
- Operate pipeline conveyors and transfer cars in Double Joint prefabrication area
- Operate clamps for fit up in J lay tower assembling station
- Operate support pipe rollers and transfer cars in line up stations
- Report any equipment malfunctioning to mechanic department

Requirements
