About the Role
We are looking for a Fire Systems Engineer to design, implement, test, and maintain fire alarm systems in compliance with Qatar Civil Defense, NFPA, and QCS standards. The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, UPDA Grade C, QCD approval, and 3-7 years of experience in fire alarm systems.

Responsibilities
- Design fire alarm and detection systems based on project requirements
- Prepare shop drawings, layout plans, schematics, and BOQs
- Ensure all designs strictly comply with QCD regulations, NFPA codes (especially NFPA 72), and QCS requirements
- Select appropriate fire alarm system components and equipment
- Supervise installation works on site
- Perform testing, commissioning, and system handover
- Ensure installations meet QCD approval standards and NFPA guidelines
- Coordinate inspections with Qatar Civil Defense (QCD)
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance
- Identify and resolve faults in fire alarm systems
- Ensure systems remain fully operational and compliant with QCD & NFPA standards
- Prepare and submit documents required for QCD approval
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
- Must possess a valid Qatar Driving License
- Must hold a valid QID and be eligible for visa transfer
- Must hold at least UPDA Grade C certification
- Must be QCD approved Fire Alarm Engineer
- Minimum 3–7 years of experience in fire alarm systems
- Proven experience with projects requiring QCD approval
- Strong knowledge of QCS and NFPA codes
- Factory training certificate for a recognized fire alarm system (such as Honeywell, Simplex, Notifier, etc.) and have at least 2 years of hands on experience programming them

Job Overview
- We are looking for a Fires System Engineer who will be able to design, implement, test, and maintain fire alarm systems in full compliance with Qatar Civil Defense (QCD) requirements, NFPA standards, and Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS), ensuring safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Engineering: Able to design fire alarm and detection systems based on project requirements
- Prepare shop drawings, layout plans, schematics, and BOQs
- Ensure all designs strictly comply with QCD regulations, NFPA codes (especially NFPA 72), and QCS requirements
- Select appropriate fire alarm system components and equipment
- Installation & Commissioning: Supervise installation works on site

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field

- Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems and components
- In depth understanding of QCD regulations, NFPA 72, and QCS
- Experience with major fire alarm system brands
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or relevant design software
- Factory training certificate for a recognized fire alarm system (such as Honeywell, Simplex, Notifier, etc.) and have at least 2 years of hands on experience programming them
